MATEL MASTER Advanced Baitcaster Reels with 6.2:1 Gear Ratio

The French term "HAUT TON," meaning "fashion" and "high society," originated in France. In 2019, three post-80s fishing enthusiasts founded the Haut Ton brand based on Teben fishing gear. As we understand the brand, we have developed products like the Macaroon and the PD One-Touch Switch Break, which we believe are unique and represent the cutting edge of fishing gear.

Teben is a professional manufacturer of fishing reels, and our customers include Kidscaster, Kastking, Piscifun, OKUMA, IP, and HISTAR, among others. Our goal is to provide the best fishing experience for our customers, which is why we decided to enter the Amazon market in 2022. In the future, we plan to develop more new fishing gear and peripheral products.

The Macaroon Spinning & Casting Rod, introduced in 2023, and the Dragon Scale Reel Handle for Macaroon baitcaster reels are two of our latest offerings. These products feature a metal plating texture, with the surface undergoing oxidation for a unique Tide brand design.

The bait clickers on our reels create a clicking noise when a fish starts swimming away with your bait. This allows you to cast your bait, reel in the slack, turn on the line alarm, and then press the spool release button so the spool can move freely. When a fish bites, the clicking sound will alert you to the activity.

Our reels are equipped with 10 magnetic discs for the auxiliary adjustment of a total of 20 gear adjustment strengths. This allows for precise tuning to meet the needs of various fishing scenarios.

Another key feature of our reels is the use of high-strength Japanese HAMI CUT 3604 brass gears. These gears, made of an alloy with more than 90% copper, have a more uniform density and are resistant to seawater corrosion, providing high precision and reducing the gap between the gear and shaft.

The 7:2.1 gear ratio of our reels is particularly well-suited for bass fishing, where you often need to quickly take up slack when you get a bite. This fast gear ratio also helps when fighting a large bass, allowing you to quickly pull it away from any line-fraying hazards.

Our reels are recommended for a variety of fishing scenarios, including freshwater, saltwater, and ice water, and are suitable for targeting species such as bass, trout, crappie, bluegill, and yellow perch.
